Men's trousers - what size?

Jeans normally come in waist sizes in inches (30, 32, 34, etc) and Knús tango marathon trousers are made to roughly correspond to that (fitting a little bit loosely). Now, where things get tricky is the general assumption that a size 32 actually measures 32 inches. Which is wrong! Understandable that people would be confused on that point, after all it is *called* size 32. It gets even more complicated when you learn that some brands of trousers give a more generous meaning to the concept "size 32" than others. Hence my use of "roughly correspond". Luckily, when someone has told me they wear a size 32 jeans, my Knús trousers magically seem to fit. Usually. If you're in doubt, you may want to be daring and get out the tape measure and measure your actual waistline and I'll find the matching pair - but don't be shocked, I've warned you! In case you don't believe me, I have referenced this highly scientific article from Esquire to back me up. If you're sensitive about your waistline, you may find this a bit of a depressing read, but on the other hand, it does tell you what brands to look for to most comfortably keep bluffing yourself.
